Kids having fun for a week while learning lessons to last a lifetime!
Palmetto Kids Fishing Camp is a specialized day camp which is sure to be the highlight of every kid’s summer. Experienced United States Coast Guard licensed Captains will blend daily fishing trips with educational instruction to help build a foundation for every young angler to enjoy a long, safe, fun-filled life on and around the water. In addition to fishing, kids will also learn topics such as fish identification, knot tying, basic boating rules and safety, catching bait & shrimp with a cast net, and the importance of being environmentally friendly. No two days are exactly the same and anglers can expect fun on every tide. The camp is designed so that every skill level will have a fun and rewarding time. Competitions are held daily which culminate at the end of each week with the Salty Dog and Captain Croaker Awards.
No experience or athleticism is required, but kids must be between the ages of 6 – 15 and be physically able to move freely and without restriction around a small boat. A desire to have fun is a plus, but will come naturally after the first fish!
This is a 5 day camp which runs every Monday thru Friday
11 am – 2 pm
June 1st to August 31st
Life vests, all fishing equipment and bottled water are provided.
A hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and rain gear are recommended.
Flip-flops are discouraged – sneakers or boat shoes are a better choice.
All of our staff are friendly, experienced USCG licensed Captains ready to share their knowledge with the kids to ensure a fun-filled trip.
The cost for a 5 day session is 475.00, but if paid in full by May 1st the cost is only 395.00.
A 100.00 deposit with registration form is required to hold a spot and is refundable if cancelled before May 15th.
